I Survived!

I survived my first semester of Dental Hygiene school! Yesterday was a very exciting day as I took my eighth and final exam! I feel lost now, like I should be doing something, but until January 5th I have nothing to do! One semester down, only four more to go!

This was a really hard, and fun semester. I learned so much new stuff, which was exciting, but all that information in only 3 1/2 months got overwhelming. Now I get to stress over finding victims to come get their teeth cleaned! Any takers?

Jacob and I are excited to head to California on Saturday for a long awaited, and very deserving vacation! We hope you all have a very merry Christmas!

I quit my job. oh wait we need money

I guess i didn't really think this one out all the way but i quit cross creek this week. Then i realized were poor and need money, so i started cross creek this week. It was so nice to see everyone again. It was a little awkward but compared to my pooping at work story in California this was cake.

Deidre is doing really well in school and i am so proud of her. I love her more everyday and she even got me a 20 out of 20 on my intro to teaching paper. I think i tease her too much at times, but with Tyson leaving on his mission i thought i would step it up a little more so she feels at home. We are sad to see Tyson go and i am sure i have never seen a sister like her brother more than Deidre. What would it be like to have a sister like that? Callie was close but then she disowned me when i moved to Idaho.

I have alot of time on my hands at work at night and i think its a Rasmussen thing but i made a list of things on my mind and thought i put some up on the blog

1. Deidre said i can go to any school i want to to finish up and I'm thinking UC irvine. oh yeah.
2. The jetta needs to be sold- anyone want a hot pink car that over heats??
3. You know your stressed when you get cold sores- all you that can't get them suck. Feel my pain
4. I am quitting my job its just a matter of time now. I am thinking about substitute teaching after Christmas and think that will be better

Halloween and Family

This time last year deidre and i were carving pumpkins in idaho at her house. I wowed her with my christmas tree pumpkin and she fell hard. This year she just watched me and did her homework.

Deidre's family came to see us and we had alot of fun. We watched movies, went to the lake, went to cafe rio and played halo. Awesome. Deidre learned how to cook with her mom and i have been eating well ever since.

Pedro and nicole came to see us on their way home from a weekend in vegas. I let pedro ride my hog and am trying to talk him into starting a gang. Pedro made the track team at UVU and we want to go see him run soon.

Harley Davidson

Last Friday the Harley Davidson store in Hurricane had a car and motorcycle show. We decided to go check things out. We felt a little out of place among the long beards and leather jackets, but we had a good time. Here are some of the cool cars we saw.

This one had half of a surf board hanging out the back. Kind of weird.

After looking at the cars we went into the shop to look at the bikes. This is Jacob's dream bike, and it's only $17,000!

Startin the blog-

We have graduated from facebook and are moving onto the married couples club of blogging. You know you have to move on when kathy jo peterson has a facebook account and writes on ryans wall 10 times in a row. (I still feel bad about breaking her kids collar bone on my first and last babysitting job)

We dont really think we have alot to blog about and are new to this whole internet thing. Plus-It might be more difficult now that the marriott hotel in st george kicked me out for the first time and we have to use the schools computers now. oh we're poor. But here is a list of the positives:

1) Deidre's old boyfriends cant send her secret messages on facebook anymore
2) We take more pictures now- "oh we can put that on our blog" is becoming more frequent in our conversations.
3) I have noticed we try to do more things- we're shallow and want to impress you all.

I think it will be fun- deidre really wanted to start one to but she won't admit it, but we all know she will be checking and posting in no time.
