IDAHO

Last week I went to Idaho to see my family. I had a really great time and was able to see a lot of people that I've missed since we've moved.
Kristi, Kelli, and I went to dinner Wednesday night. Kelli and I thought it would be fun to surprise Kris, so we didn't tell her I was coming. She didn't know what was going on. It was so fun to hang out with my girls, I miss the college days!

After dinner Kris and I hit up my favorite Icee shack. I forgot how good they really are. I have yet to find a good one in St. George, which makes me really sad.
Thursday I hung out with Ashley and Dana. We went to Dairy Queen where the employees struggle making dipped cones. The picture doesn't capture how sad our ice cream cones really looked.

It was so good to see my BFF Ashley. She has such a cute belly. I'm excited for her to be a mom, she's going to be awesome!

Thursday night we went to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat. I was in the play in 2001 and 2005, so this was the first time I had seen it from the audience. It was fabulous, I loved it. I wished I could be down there singing and dancing, however, it was fun to watch. I wish I could go every night! This is the third time my aunt Karin has been the narrator, and this year her sister Jennifer was the other narrator. They did such an amazing job. And Jim Johnson, who is Joseph, was also incredible, like always.

Here's everyone just waiting for the magic to begin.

This is Brett Johnson, who plays Jacob. He is one of my favorite people in the whole world!

I had a good time in Idaho, but I'm glad to be back in St. George with my husband. Hopefully now that school is out I can be better about posting, but let's be honest, I probably won't!

After 15 months of marriage it still fits, and zips up!!!!

Long awaited update

I know it's been a long time since we've posted, so I'll try to catch y'all up on what's been happening in St. George. I started summer semester May 11 and just finished on June 18. This semester went so much smoother for me than last semester, so I was very grateful. We learned how to give injections which ended up being kind of fun! Jacob's started one class on May 18 and finished that class June 18. He also started 2 classes on June 1 and will be finished on July 23.

The first week of June my family came down to visit. Logan got to be my patient! He wasn't all that thrilled, but it was fun for me to show off all my new knowledge and skills! He was a good sport. On Friday Jacob and I didn't have school so we decided to take the family to Sand Hallow. It was a little chilly and windy, but they still wanted to jump off the cliffs. Even dad jumped off. Mom and I took pictures.

Dad and Austin striking a pose before jumping.

Jacob being strong, Logan trying to look strong, and Jena laughing at them.

We had a lot of fun with the family, and were so glad they could all come down!
