Trip to the library and California

Deidre forgot to mention she tripped at the library a couple of weeks ago and is still healing. She got up too fast and her foot fell asleep and she went crashing in to like three computers. It was pretty bad and she was in a lot of pain.

She kept looking at me from the ground and for about half a second I really thought about pretending not to know her... Then I could tell it was bad and she was trying not to cry so I picked her up and carried her to the car. I think that makes up for the half a second of almost turning to the guy next to me and asking if he saw that and who that girl was.

After Graduation we went to callies and watched Jordan, kailey and Carter while they went to South Carolina to find us a house to live in when we move there with them. Callie I don't want you to move so were going with you if you find me a job. Seriously, I will miss you guys and your kids were easy and fun to watch.

After that we went to California for moms and carries birthday.

Mom and dad always go all out when we come home to make sure we have a good time and I couldn't ask for better parents. Thanks guys.

Having seen all four of my sisters the last week and two birthdays they all did a lot of shopping. I felt kind of gay so this is me coming out of the closet on carries bday.

My sisters are awesome and it was fun to see them all again. Jessie came from Boston and told us about her having twins, Hadley and Heather harrison. She always makes going home more fun. Love ya Jess.

We went to San Juan Capistrano, the Newport beach temple and saw our new nephew Finn on this trip too. Lily had her first tooth pulled and Kevin was always wearing the hat Jessie got at the angels game. It wasn't really a hat it came with jessie's fries in it but he loved that thing.

At the end of the month summer classes start up for me and Deidre is taking her boards. Were hoping that she passes so wish her luck on the 27th and 29th.

Where to begin?

Obviously we are horrible bloggers...but still better than Jessie. With that said i'm not going to attempt to catch you up on the happenings since November (assuming someone is still reading this) so, I'll hit the major points. In April We celebrated jacob's birthday. His mom came all the way to spend the day with him, which was so sweet. He got all sorts of things, including the iPad that I am currently blogging on. (which is not pictured). Basically, he is spoiled.

May marked the end of a great era...Dental hygiene school! I still cannot believe that I made it through. Sometimes I wonder if it's a dream and soon I'm going to wake up back in first semester! Thursday may 6th we had a pinning ceremony. Basically we ate dinner while awards were handed out. Then we are 'pinned' which is suppose to mark the moment we become professionals, no longer students! It was a very exciting night.

My bestie Megan was in charge and did an excellent job!

Megan and I after the ceremony

My parents and Austin came down

Jacob's parents also came. It was great to have so much support!

My instructor, ms. Wilson, gave me the nickname Dider. She found it hilarious! I even got a shout out in her pinning ceremony rap! "go dider, go dider!"

This is the Dixie state college dental hygiene class of 2010! I'm sure going to miss these girls. I won't know what to do when Leslie isn't in the chair next to me answering all my many stupid questions!

The next night was graduation from DSC. Jacob and I both received our associates degrees, however, he thought it was lame to walk. I, on the other hand, thought I deserved some recognition for all my hard work! Thus, I walked...with pride!

My BFF Ashley surprised me and came down from Idaho for my graduation! I was so happy to see her! she came with her parents (who practically helped raise me!) and her adorable baby. Love them!

Megan and I were quite disappointed to discover that our diplomas were EMPTY! WHAT?

Jacob and I. The DSC graduates!

So, basically, I've conquered Dixie. Now what?
