Where to begin?

Obviously we are horrible bloggers...but still better than Jessie. With that said i'm not going to attempt to catch you up on the happenings since November (assuming someone is still reading this) so, I'll hit the major points. In April We celebrated jacob's birthday. His mom came all the way to spend the day with him, which was so sweet. He got all sorts of things, including the iPad that I am currently blogging on. (which is not pictured). Basically, he is spoiled.

May marked the end of a great era...Dental hygiene school! I still cannot believe that I made it through. Sometimes I wonder if it's a dream and soon I'm going to wake up back in first semester! Thursday may 6th we had a pinning ceremony. Basically we ate dinner while awards were handed out. Then we are 'pinned' which is suppose to mark the moment we become professionals, no longer students! It was a very exciting night.

My bestie Megan was in charge and did an excellent job!

Megan and I after the ceremony

My parents and Austin came down

Jacob's parents also came. It was great to have so much support!

My instructor, ms. Wilson, gave me the nickname Dider. She found it hilarious! I even got a shout out in her pinning ceremony rap! "go dider, go dider!"

This is the Dixie state college dental hygiene class of 2010! I'm sure going to miss these girls. I won't know what to do when Leslie isn't in the chair next to me answering all my many stupid questions!

The next night was graduation from DSC. Jacob and I both received our associates degrees, however, he thought it was lame to walk. I, on the other hand, thought I deserved some recognition for all my hard work! Thus, I walked...with pride!

My BFF Ashley surprised me and came down from Idaho for my graduation! I was so happy to see her! she came with her parents (who practically helped raise me!) and her adorable baby. Love them!

Megan and I were quite disappointed to discover that our diplomas were EMPTY! WHAT?

Jacob and I. The DSC graduates!

So, basically, I've conquered Dixie. Now what?

I still read your blog. And I'm glad that you updated. Understand that you probably didn't have time this last year of school...however YOU DID IT!!! Congrats congrats congrats! What an amazing accomplishment! Believe me..I know. So jealous you are the proud owners of an iPad! They seem like they would be so fun! Conquered Dixie...and now onto the real world...believe me...it's about a million times better than school ever was. Good luck on boards and entering the work force as a dental hygienist!! :) (Still feels weird to be called that and have a "real, adult" job...)
